How do you decide on the right wall colour? Do wall colours influence mood and well-being?
Colours can calm or overwhelm, harmonise and inspire, promote creativity, concentration and enjoyment of work, help you fall asleep and even stimulate your appetite. The choice of wall colour is therefore about much more than your favourite individual colour, and because walls usually cover a very large area, deciding on the right colour is all the more important. But how do you find the perfect colour for the soul, the room, the purpose and the living situation? Do you feel overwhelmed by the choice of colours?
The variety of wall colours and the numerous nuances are no cause for concern, because you can fully rely on our expertise. It is no coincidence that the most renowned paint manufacturers have placed their trust in us for many years. You tell us what you want from your new wall colours and together we will make a tailor-made selection that perfectly showcases your individuality and your rooms.
The right colour design on the wall optimises the room.
The colour tone is as important as the colour quality!
Can a wall colour visually change the size of a room? Do you paint all or just individual walls? Should you also paint the ceiling a different colour? Are more expensive colours really better?
Colours have a major effect on the perception of rooms and not all colours are equally suitable for every room. High-quality wall colours are actually able to give the wall an additional dimension and thus also significantly change the effect of the room. The wall paints from traditional British manufacturers Farrow & Ball and Little Greene impress with their extremely high proportion of colour pigments, which allows the colours to react subtly to the incidence of light. This creates a unique depth of colour, the walls appear almost powdery and create a unique atmosphere with every season and time of day.
Colour cards, colour fans, sample tins and colour samples make the decision easier
Can I try out different colours? How can I avoid choosing the wrong colour?
We have everything in stock to help you find the perfect colour concept. Colour cards and colour fans visualise all available colour nuances and their effect on and with each other. Once a shortlist of possible colours has been drawn up, the sample tins can be used to paint areas of approx. 1 m². This makes it easy to make the final decision on the new look for the walls. In our shop we have colour mixing equipment from all Farrow & Ball, Little Greene and sikkens, so that we can mix any colour for you on site and you can take it with you immediately.
